How to install emulators on Custom Firmware 3.52 m33-x and below without any problems!


1. Download the emulator which is always the first item on each new section.
2. Download a rom that you want.
3. After downloading both an emulator/rom, use Winrar to extract the emulator.
4. Open emulator folder, you will see 2 new folders. Copy and paste the 2 folders into the  GAME150 folder in your PSP. ie. E:\PSP\GAME150\emulator and emulator%
5. If there aren't 2 folders and just 1, don't worry about it. Just place that folder in GAME150  as well.
6. If you don't have a GAME150 folder, make one. And make sure its in the same area as the  COMMON and SYSTEM folders.
7. Go to the GAME150 folder and double click on the emulator folder without a % on it, make  a ROM folder and put your roms in there.
8. After that is done, close the USB Connection on the PSP and turn the PSP off. Then turn it  back on while holding the R button.
9. You will then see Recovery Mode. Go to Configuration and look for "Game folder  homebrew (currently: x.xx Kernel". Change it to 1.50 Kernel.
10. Then press X on Back and then Exit.
11. Now go to the Game section and press X on the bottom Memory Stick icon. (located under the UMD icon)
12. You will see an icon with the name of the emulator that you just download. Press X.
13. Try to figure out the buttons, select the rom you want to play and enjoy.

How to install emulators on Custom Firmware 3.80 m33-x without any problems!

1. Before you install the emulators, download this: (megaupload) . The link given contains everything you need for 3.80 m33, including all the installer, all updates and the 1.50 add on.
2. Download the emulator which is always the first item on each new section.
3. Downnload a rom that you want.
4. After downloading both an emulator/rom, use Winrar to extract the emulator.
5. Instal the 1.50 kernel add on
       

6. Before we move the emulators to the PSP, we must first install the 1.50 kernel add on.

7. To obtain the 1.50 kernel add on, click the link at the very beginning of this tutorial.

8. Extract it and you will have a file called, 150.pbp.

9. From there, drag and drop or copy and paste the 150.pbp to the area outside of the PSP folder. This is known as the root of your memory stick or MS_ROOT.                    

10. If you are still unclear on what area I am talking about then make sure that the 150.pbp is in the same area as MP_ROOT and PSP. Its as easy as that.

11.From there, find the folder that was given along with the 150.pbp. And drag and drop that folder into your GAME folder of your memory stick.

12. Now exit out of the USB connection and go to the Game section and press X on the bottom Memory Stick icon. (located under the UMD icon)

13.You will see a new icon there. Press X on that. Accept a few things and wait a few minutes and it will be done. Then follow the instructions given to you.

14. Go back to the XMB and press X on USB Connection.
15. Open the emulator folder, you will see 2 new folders. Copy and paste the 2 folders into the GAME150 folder in your PSP. ie. E:\PSP\GAME150\emulator and emulator%

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for these emulators to work you need a PSP SLIM with custom firmware version 3.71m33-2 or higher(you CAnNot use any homebrew on official firmware so dont try it, 3.71,3.80, and 3.90 wont work; basically it needs the m33 attachment firmware). And no i will not be providing a tutorial for CFW installation, those are in the tutorial section. If you have a slim without custom firmware you NEED pandora(its the only way, buy it on the net).

Note- I have experience in other areas of PSP cfw including ISOs, PSX, Flashing themes, and more so PM me for those problems and ill do my best to help. ALSO MOST FO THESE EMULATORS SHOULD ALSO WORK WITH A PHAT PSP, JUST DROP IN PSP/GAME



I did not like the e-loader, so i uploaded these to share with other frustrated slim users. All you do is copy the lone folders to the PSP/GAME folder on a psp slim unless noted otherwise. You will notice that ROMS run way better with these emulators than their 1.50 conterparts(phat emulators) due to the 64RAM. Dont worry about changing anything i already made the folders so all you have to do is get a game drop it in the ROMs folder and play. I keep the emulator versions updated.

If your slim is 3.60m33, it would be best if you install this version, that way you can use PTF themes and run emulators.(I will post newer updates for slim everytime DaX releases them so dont fret about playing newer games and Roms, i got you covered)

Ill post the CXMB for 3.90m33-3.93m33 later, i tried earlier but it gave me the busy server syndrome and cancelled everything i updated. Here is a video of a new plugin that came out for psp slims. (Watch video)

I do not recommend 3.93m33 as it disables most plugins like popsloader, ill upload it later on
3.90m33 Update(If you update from 3.71m33-x the 3.71m33 apps wont work, if you dont have any 3.71m33 apps then i strongly recommend you update.)
